Have you ever used /report in game?
How many times it worked?


Well usually when you needed to ask for any kind of "help" This is how it looks like.
->Go to Blockstackers discord server
->Make Ticket
->Wait for eternity!


This is the usual way of getting help from staffs. Because staffs deal with thousands of cases and reports everyday, it takes time until they address your issue. But in my observation there are many cases where little to no staff involvement required. But because those issues are reported they have to go and checkout that before they can come to your report. To increase the efficiency of staff and solving minor issues with ease I propose the new "Vigilante Justice System".

What is Vigilante Justice System?
-> It is the system by the community for the community, to resolve their minor issues as soon as possible without waiting for too long so they can enjoy the game! There will be some players in the system ranked as [Vigilante] who will come to you to listen to your issue and will try to solve it as well help you if needed.

Who are Vigilantes?
->Just normal players who will help other players when they needed some kind of help. eg. how to claimblocks?, issue between two online players etc. The [Vigilante] will be chosen by players of the same server. This should be noted that it shouldn't be appointed by higher staff cause then it will become just another staff designation, instead of someone who is chosen by the community. There can be some kind of elections where you can vote for your favorite candidate to become a [Vigilante].

So Vigilante system will replace current staff?

->No it wont, Vigilante Justice System (VJS) is to aid the staff and not to replace them. Keep in mind staff will function as they do now. They will always have upper hand to vigilantes.

What are the powers of Vigilantes?
->They can /inspect your inventory and chests (even if they are in your claim to checkout stuff in case of stealing related issues) but cant take anything out of there. They can't impose any punishments. The idea is to try to resolve the issues with better communication instead of force.

What if vigilante cant solve my issue?
->Yes it will happen that sometimes you will need more help than a [Vigilante] can provide such as refund, banning etc. In those cases you have to go to the usual way of making tickets on discord. You can also make ticket if you are not satisfied by the vigilante's help and want more assistance.

How vigilantes will know I need help?

->I would suggest management to checkout the problem in ingame /report system and fix it. Whenever someone will use /report command and file report it will notify to all vigilantes as well as staff members and one of them can come forward to help. Also vigilantes will help if you just type normally "hey i need help can someone help me?" etc.

So [Vigilante] will be permanent?
->I dont think it should, we can do like elections every 3 months or 2 months where they have to prove that they are still worthy!

I'd love to explain and address the point of "Wait for eternity!" before the other points you've mentioned, staff members wouldn't direct you to discord every time as what you have said. Respectfully, you are mistaken, way many reports daily do be handled without anything related to discord, unless it's a thing having many evidences where you have to make a ticket so the case/evidences/information doesn't get lost or forgotten about it, or It either requires higher staff which are either busy if they were online or just offline.

None of our tickets takes more than 1d to be reviewed (looking at your tickets too), If It really took more than 1d which is unusual, we apologies for that, It's either that staff have seen it already but forgot about it or haven't seen it at all.

Now for the main topic, your suggestion about the Vigilante System, I'd honestly see it as a good idea, but at the end, It's just a v2 of staff members, and nope, we cannot not to monitor or to not be "appointed" by us and just leave them helping people by any way, we don't want people to be misleading other players/newbies whether mistakenly, not knowing how to answer a question or on purpose "I am a Vigilante, I am right". Unfortunately, this idea will not be applied nor implemented!

I have to mention that I respect and appreciate the time you have taken to let us know what are your thoughts about the staff team, we love to see words from the community! I apologies that you felt this way and we are trying to get everything to the best and better in the future!

yeah what i said and know you guys have too much of a work so it would be helpful for you if you get extra hand!

The idea of community choosing the vigilante is that they most probably will chose someone they know that can help them and not one who will say "I am a Vigilante, I am right" and if anyone break general server rules they obviously will get punished by the staff.Thats why i said vigilante will not going to be above staff after all. Its community helping community.

Yes you will have to wait sometimes to get your issue resolved, we ain't 24/7 available uwu

let's talk about three days ago incident.
I lost sword due to server bug you,rosella and one another mod were online. You all know i am muted despite this when i sent you to request you didn't accept it in 2hrs i tried multiple times until you blocked me. Thankfully dockorl showed up but he was offduty that time still he tried but having some issues so he ping you guys on this matter but no mod showed up then played for few hours then i left after a while korl fixed his issue and refunded the sword.
So the issue that can be fixed in less than few minutes took hours to be resolved. That's the kind of inefficiency in the system i am talking about 👍 hope you understand.

Yes drjoy, I understand your point very well, as I said, we are trying to improve all these points!

For your messages to my PM, I never ignored you, in fact, I did not see your messages in the first place, I never block or ignore anyone, excuse me for not replying to you at that time, I mostly play with other sounds being played, I don't get to hear all messages :)

in my experienc, whenever i /report in game (in good time of the day not like midnight) i instantly get a staff to take the report, some of them adjust to player’s need and work on the case without needing a ticket (i used to not have discord) others would just say “make a ticket” and not help.

i’d like to say some staff members are good at their work some are good in other fields.
